Every band has its beggining, and Laments of Silence has its own, but it wasn't till 2002 when the band merges and decides to record the first studio album "Muta, goddess of silence" and starts to promote themselves: playing in well known venues, getting contact with record companies, radios, newspapers, etc...
In 2004 Laments of Silence decides to change completely and evolve in the way to understand the music, with some new members, in 2006 Laments of Silence born again with the same memberlist till nowadays:
In April 2006 Laments of Silence records a promo CD called "Reset" with 4 full auto produced songs with the help of Joan Catalá. After some promo shows, the band gets a spot for the "Emergenza Festival" competition, racing to the final played in Razzmatazz2 venue, Barcelona. It is worth to know the participation in the "Festival de Música Jove" in Reus, where the band gets the second position. Laments of Silence shared tour with CATAMENIA in their tour through Spain.
Distribution and presentation of "Reset" in some national shows make the band to play a large number of performances, getting the first prize in "DO Tarragona'07".
"Reset" has been the way to introduce the new Laments of Silence trademark to the world, an amazing coctail of stuning metal with an awesome preformance.
In 2008 the band decides to record its new album going one step beyond its career. They recorded the album during 2008 spring, in "La Sala de Máquinas Studio", Murcia (Skizoo, Romeo, Elecktra, etc). Mixed at Nott-in-Pill studios in Gales UK (Trivium, Bullet for Vallentine, Soulfly, etc) and mastered by Jonas K'jellgren (Scar Symmetry guitar) at BlackLounge Studios, Sweden (Sonic Syndicate, Katatonia, Centinex, Etc). In February 2009 the last arrangements for the new LP are done by the hand of Joan Català, sound technician of the band.
In the late 2009 Laments of Silence come in touch with My Kingdom Music which offered them a deal to release the spectacular "Restart your Mind". The release date is fixed for February 19th, 2010.
