After playing and touring for more than 10 years with the acclaimed Antiqua and Project Firestart, Jacobo decided that it was time to follow a new path of darkness. MAJESTIC DOWNFALL started as a one man’s Doom band in August of 2006.
In 2007, Majestic Downfall released “The First Abyss”. It featured 3 songs of Melodic Death/Doom. The same demo got Majestic Downfall a deal with Solitude Productions and was reprinted in 2008 in a split album with the Italian band Ansia.
After the good response of the split album, Majestic Downfall began writing the bands first full-lenght CD ¨Temple of Guilt¨which earned him a deal with the Italian label My Kingdom Music, who had previously released Jacobo’s Thrash Metal project Ticket To Hell.
The first full-length of the band is a 5 song piece with more than 55 minutes of expressive Doom Metal.
A great response followed and after a couple of years, the mexican lord of darkness, MAJESTIC DOWNFALL, comes back with a new jewel of obscurity and doomish sensations. The album will be released in June in a deluxe A5 digipak format and is titled “The Blood Dance” and for sure will be a new embrace to the darkness!
