MORTAL FORM is a death / thrash band from Arnhem/Duiven the Netherlands.
In 1994 Vince, Teun en Bastiaan started Odd Funeral (later MORTAL FORM) playing Sepultura and Black Sabbath covers. After some line-up changes MORTAL FORM recorded their first self financed MCD “X-Plore” in 1999. One year later MORTAL FORM were again at work on material for their second self-financed release “The End of Times” which was released in December 2000. Positive reviews were placed in well-known magazines as The Aardschok (HOL), Ablaze (GER) and the Mindview (BEL) and also many gigs were played by the band. An overload of inspiration made the band enter the studio again in July 2001 to record their long awaited debut album “Evil Reborn” in the Alpha Studio in Duiven the Netherlands with the help of the Synchronized Studio and Marmer Productions. In the meantime the band played with bands as Warhammer, Pentacle, Absorbed, Disabuse, Her-Enchantment, Pulverizer and many others on bigger and smaller venues around the country. In 2003 after promoting their debut album by playing live with bands as Tankard, Detonation and Blood Red Angel, MORTAL FORM entered the Synchronized Studio, this time to record three songs for the “Trolley-Metaal compilation” cd.
In 2008 after some years spent through devastating live shows and line-up changes, the recordings of MORTAL FORM’s debut album were completed and also arrives the deal with Italian label My Kingdom Music. CD’s title, “Taste The Blood”, is a devastating act combining the best elements of Death Metal, Thrash and Heavy Metal. Extreme, brutal yet melodic, the debut release from Mortal Form will appeal to many of you out there who live with Death, Arch Enemy, Kreator, Overkill, Morbid Angel, In Flames and Iron Maiden as soundtrack of your life.
