P.T.S.D. stands for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder an anxiety disorder that can occur after you have been through a traumatic event.
The band was formed in 2005 after the precedent experience with VOLTAGE (an underground concept since 1994). This band had just recordered an autoproducted album titled "AS THE FALLIN RAIN". Soon the moniker of the band changed in the actual P.T.S.D.
The band propose a melodic metal genre, generated by the union of many musical influences and different attitude of the combo. The musical spirit and the passion for all kind of music generate this interesting union full of originality and a lot of interesting idea. The "Burepolom" concept rappresent and show the state of anxiety, discomfort, sadness and all that can explain and make more evident this indisposition. "Burepolom" is the first full length of the band. It's formed by 10 tracks recordered at Castriota Studios in three months of hard work. On April P.T.S.D. signs a deal with the label MY KINGDOM MUSIC thanks to the great interest that his boss Francesco Palumbo has shown and on September the album sees the light worldwidely.
In the meantime P.T.S.D. has captured the interest of the US director Richard Terrasi of Dark Vision Films that proposed to the band the possibility to put 3 songs of the album ("Anyone", "Neurotted", "Still Love") as a soundtrack. The film is titled "Am I Evil" and is resulted as winner of the best director premium in the Horror Festival in U.S.A.
At this moment the band is working on the videoclips for the song "Anyone" under the attention of Alessandro Castriota.
