The band born in the year 2003. Saratan started to record the demo album in December 2005 in ZED Studio, under Tomek Zalewski supervision. It was released in January 2006. Demo cd "Infected with Life" received very good marks in heavy metal magazines and webzines accross the world. One year later the band decided to record full lenght album. Saratan entered Studio X, Olsztyn in September 2007. Debut cd entitled "The Cult of Vermin" was ready in mid October 2007, and then the band started to search for a label. In December Saratan’s drummer - Wiktor Niemiec - decided to left the band, so Michal “MiSha” Drozdowski became a new band member. After few months Saratan signed a contract with My Kingdom Music. 18th April 2008 was the world premiere date of "The Cult of Vermin". In September 2008 there was a line up change in the group - Michal has left the band, so Wiktor Niemiec could return. In May 2009 Saratan entered Hertz Studio (Decapitated, Vader) and recorded their second album. The album was entitled “Antireligion”. It was recorded by Wieslawscy brothers, and it includes 3 guest solos (by Vogg from DECAPITATED, Jacek Hiro - SCEPTIC and Daniel Kesler - REDEMPTOR) and will be released on June 2010.
