They represent the biggest surprise for this end of 2011, they are SO MUCH FOR NOTHING and are formed by Erik Unsgaard (Sarkom). With Uruz (Urgehal) on drums and some special guests (Niklas from Shining among the others) he gave life to a wonderful and avantgardish Suicidal Dark Black music with Popish references .

Their album called "Livsgnist", released in CD and LP format, presents a sound that is somehow unique, bringing in instruments as saxophone, trumpet, cello, violin and flute among others, and this album sure is an original work! Great, very great, absolutely great news from PTSD side. First of all the band reached a great deal with one of the best drummer in the world, MARCO MINNEMANN (now with DREAM THEATER but also with Kreator, Necrophagist, Ephel Duath, Joe Satriani) who has already recorded the drums parts for the next full lenght probably ready to be released in February 2012 via My Kingdom Music. It will contain 13 songs for about 60 minutes of extreme articulated and variegated Post Metal. At the same time the band is organizing with some agencies a tour in Europe (15 gigs) with the same Marco Minnemann on drums. An example of his devastating work HERE

For the mix of the album PTSD are at work with JIM CARUANA (among his works there are mainstream stars of the International music business like Jeff Buckley, Black Eyed Peas, Beyonce etc.).
